Selection. Some paragraphs only apply to some specific projects, so Id like to hide them using custom fields. You can then start a new paragraph in the location you want and then click the button to hide the text again. The following macro, TabsOut, searches for any hard return/tab combinations in your document (or your selected text) and removes the tab. If you want the text to remain in a certain place, you can click on the Show/Hide Paragraph Marks button and it will show you the hidden text with a special dotted underline. (Actually, you would search for a paragraph mark followed by a tab this would then be replaced with a paragraph mark, thereby deleting the tab.)Ī quicker way to take care of this problem is to develop a macro to do it for you. You could, however, use Find and Replace in order to search for tabs and remove them.
